今月のゲストは、10月20日に都内で開催された
第８回「国際紅白歌合戦」
（The 8th International Red-White Singing Festival）
への出場者の方々です。

今回は、グループでパフォーマンスをした
『人類皆兄弟：The World’s Brothers』のメンバー
JessieさんとOmiさんへのインタビューです。

『人類皆兄弟』には多様な人たちが集まっている

――Would you introduce yourself?
（自己紹介してくださいますか？）

Jessie: Uhm, my name is Jessie and I come from Hongkong.
（私は香港から来たジェシーです）

And I’m… this, today is happy to come here to join, ah… event and, Omi-SAN…
（今日はこのイベントに参加できてうれしいです、続いてOmiさんどうぞ）

Omi: Yeah, my name is Omi, I’m… come from Tokyo.
（はい、私はOmiです、東京から来ました）

I work as a teacher.
（教師をしています）

I can speak Mandarin, a little bit English, a little bit Korean language, and Arabic, Español and so on.
（マンダリンと少しの英語、少しの韓国語、アラビア語とスペイン語などが話せます）

I organize this team name’s “JINRUI-MINA-KYOUDAI,” English name is “World’s Brothers.”
（このチーム、『人類皆兄弟』、英語では『World’s Brothers』を結成しました）

チーム『人類皆兄弟』とは？

――So, what do you do in this group?
（このグループでは何をするのですか？）

Omi: Uhm, mainly I organize hold Japanese-foreign language exchange conversation meeting.
（ええと、基本的には日本語と外国語で話し合う交流ミーティングを催しています）

I hold about three times in a week.
（週に３回開催していて）

Every Thursdays, Japanese – Mandarin.
（毎週木曜日は日本語とマンダリン）

And every Saturdays, Japanese – Vietnam.
（毎週土曜日は日本語とベトナム語）

And every Sundays, Japanese – English.
（そして、毎週日曜日は日本語と英語でミーティングをしています）

Our activity is mainly gather each others and chatting in foreign language.
（私たちの活動は、主にみんなで集まって外国語で会話をすることです）

We made this group four years ago.
（４年前にこのグループを作って）

And, then we joined this “KOHAKU-UTAGASSEN.”
（そして、国際紅白歌合戦に参加しました）

国際紅白歌合戦出場を通しての目標とは？

Jessie: Um, during this event, we have the some practice, some ex… uh, some communication together to do the project, so we can get more communication together and also can make friends in this community.
（このプロジェクトを通してさらに交流を深めたりこのコミュニティで友だちを作れるように、イベントに向けて練習をしたり、コミュニケーションをとったりしました）

Omi: That’s right.
（そのとおり！）

(Laughter)
（笑）

――And, what’s your dream?
（夢は何ですか？）

Omi: My dream?
（私の夢ですか？）

――Yeah, about this group.
（はい、このグループについての夢です）

Omi: Ah, this group?
（ああ、このグループについてのですね）

Today’s… we joined together with ah… about 20 peoples, and someday I wanna join with a 100 people togethers, ah…
（今日は20人が集まったのですが、いつか100人で出たいですね）

Jessie: Final aim may be 100 and more people to join together and go on the stage and perform together.
（最終的な目標は100人以上で集まって、このステージで一緒にパフォーマンスをしたいです）

Not just thinking of to perform a high quality performance but also while we are doing this ah… event or project, we are going to communicate and also know more people.
（パフォーマンスのクオリティの高さを求めるだけではなく、このイベントあるいはプロジェクトの活動を通じてコミュニケーションをとってさらに多くの人と知り合いたいです）

Widen our sights to get more knowledge or relationships with other peoples.
（さらに知識を高めたり、他者との関係性を強めるために視野を広げていきたいです）
